Whether the mind understands it or not, people say something about it or not but I, in accordance with this Quranic verse have heard and accepted. Although, the purpose of opening the doors of scientific research on Islam may be that they want to return back to Islam from their bewildered lives.
Human intellect is flawed whereas religion of Mohammad (Sal Allahu Alayhee Wasallam) is absolutely perfect. By nature a human being is weak and feeble. He cannot immediately understand all the systems of life. If he excels in any one field; others are beyond his understanding unless he works and strive hard to understand them. Study of human history reveals that there were many people who tried to judge the religion on the basis of wisdom. But they failed either due to their imperfect wisdom and knowledge or they refused to accept some of the main pillars of religion. Some people tried to understand the religion by its apparent status and condition. But they also remained far away from the truth and reality of the religion as religion is only the name of replication of Mohammad (Sal Allahu Alayhee Wasallam). Whether the mind understands it or not, people say something about it or not but I, in accordance with this Quranic verse have heard and accepted. Although, the purpose of opening the doors of scientific research on Islam may be that they want to return back to Islam from their bewildered lives and reverting to Islam is their necessity.
Monsieur Devi’s incident:
As a proof of this reality, read the following incident which was published in a daily paper “Ilm al Nafsiat” (The knowledge of Psychology) by a famous psychiatrist Monsieur Devi.
Once Monsieur Devi invited European experts and scientists including the world famous scientist Mr. Wales, to gather at a place and observe his amazing magical actions.
When they gathered, Monsieur Devi presented them with few things and allowed them to stamp anywhere on them. After that he used all methods in front of them which are used in the art of expulsion of the spirits and incarnation of spirits. His actions were so amazing that after watching him, all the scientists who themselves were also great scholars, gave him the certificate that the things he presented in front of them were exceptional and beyond human capabilities and powers and are supernatural things. After getting this certificate, Monsieur Devi confessed before everyone that it was all magic and had nothing to do with spiritual power and divine inspiration. The person who arranged this event says that the thing that surprises him from Monsieur Devi’s amazing observations, are not his skills, but more amazing is that how come those renowned scholars certified him?
The fundamental principle of Islam:
Islam has given a fundamental principle to Muslims to avoid hallucinations. That principle is to follow the path of Allah’s Prophet (Sal Allahu Alayhee Wasallam) and the path of the believers (Momin). This means that any ways, other than those adopted by the Holy Prophet (Sal Allahu Alayhee Wasallam) and believers, and which we adopt following our own knowledge, intelligence or wisdom will not be acceptable. As is told in the 15th verse of Surah Al Nisa, “Who so ever, after having received the guidance opposes the path of Prophet (Sal Allahu Alayhee Wasallam) and follows any path other than the believers, Allah will let him do so and later put him into hell”. The path of the Prophet (Sal Allahu Alayhee Wasallam) and the believers is that of tolerance, love, patience, compassion, wisdom and insight.
